QUEST FOR AVALON

Avalon is the mythical Island where according to the tales King Arthur Pendragon has found his last resting place. According to the myth there is a latin inscription on his tomb that say's 'here lies Athur, once and future king'. Meaning he will return when he is needed. This insciption is starting point of an adventures fantasy saga about a young man Will and his friends who will have to go on a quest to find this tomb in order to release the kingdom of the terrible reing of the black prince and his loyal servant Fragon.
It should be a exciting adventure filled with mysteries, action and romance. A new heroic epos that grabs the viewers attention and does not let him go until the end.
Wel this sounds al great of course but I've only written the first draft of the scenario and the road is still long. Besides I will have to make a choice between Avalon and the rariteitenkabinet. I can't make both and besides even if I pick Avalon it will only be a pilot but that is already a beginning.

RARITEITENKABINET

This is a political satire about the complex Belgium politics. The scripts I've already written have their good points and funny moments but are not sharp enough. There is much to do about politics these days and when you make a fool of a politician, the next day there is already another politician who is even dumber. For this reason this project is always outdated even before it begins. Quite frustrating that is.
We will see wether I persist and finish this project.

LEGIO

Right actually, this post should have been posted before the others but of course I didn't feel like giving comment the last time. This is the short and not very succesfull horrormovie I made for school. In this movie the mean character Saartje, her boyfriend Kevin and her other friends Rudy and Kim are being followed and brutally murdered by something or someone. I will not tell the whole story because although it may be confusing, there is a form of logic in the story. The movie can be found on the website of inmediasres.
BTW the upsidedown girl in the picture is Tina, who was brave enough to do this scene. Further I've to thank also the rest of my very patient crew, who did their very best on this one.

DELDICHE HOLLYWOOD COOKING
Again with Sara, Jim and Christer we made Hollywood cooking for Deldiche, the business of Jim's father. For their anually foodshow they wanted some cooking podcasts with Christer cooking the most delicious dishes with their products. These podcast were better than the ones for Silvo. I think i'm getting the hang of it. There website can be found in the linkssector, unfortunately the podcasts are not online at the moment.

TOPPERS! FROM SILVO
Together with my niece Sara, her boyfriend Jim and swedish chef Christer Elfving. We made 6 videopodcasts about cooking with the new spices of Silvo. I did everthing from camera to editing and adding subtitles. You find the podcasts on www.silvo.nl you can find the exact location in the linksector.

SABBAT
Sabbat is a play by and for children. It is a story about witches. In the play two ways of telling a story come together as one part is film and the other part is live theatre. We shot the film during the last week of august and are currently still editing. The shoot took eight days, wich is rather long if you are working with children. But we had great fun and actualy all went well. But without Jeroen, who was my assistant, and the rest of the crew this project would not have been possible. This project was a great opporunity to write and direct a small film. The rest of the play and the content of the films is written by Hannes Vandersteene and Tom Vandenbroucke, who is also directing the play, the production is managed by Jan Bernolet and VZW Artbij.
